    I really like this. The use of stone and wood is beautiful. It has a very comfortable looking interior. A lot of attention to detail.

    Nice. I love the period style of hobbit homes, but i’m a tall guy so some illusions would have to happen to disguise doorways and room heights. Digging a semi basement can give you 8 foot ceilings without building a tall house, optical illusions can make entryways seem hobbit sized without having to bend over to enter…
    That said this is a fine example, nice job!

    I simply adore all of the design work that belonged to the elves and have often wished modern architects and home designers would implement this style. But I guess it’s too labor intensive and expensive and would not fly in today’s cost cutting housing market. Kudos to Mr. Archer! He’s done a really fabulous job with this; it’s a pleasure to look at like any good piece of sculpture. I hope he makes some more for posterity. Maybe make a village and have tours 🙂
