The first Small Swoon House that’s not worthy of your site. The ONLY warmth I feel is the exterior rock. NOTHING inside is even remotely welcoming. From the loft to the stairs screams a fall waiting to happen. The only seating are wooden planks? UGH!
I can appreciate the uniqueness of this home. The VIEW from the bedroom is to die for, absolutely stunning. I think the house could be softened up with different decorating. Seems like a lot of “staging” going on that does not reflect how the home would be used. The house grows on me the more I look at it, especially thinking those 4 big windows looks out to that mountain range.
Lovely stone, NO heart, NO soul, just an empty, almost mean space. An axe in the entryway? NO place to sit and enjoy the lovely fire, no place TO sit, to read, or talk….perching on that, once again, lovely looking plank, is just plain uncomfortable, with no other options available. As I look again, I see there is no art, no plants, nothing alive, nothing personal nothing that speaks of humanity or joy.
Jane, Gracie, I agree, even with the stunning views and the beautiful light, there is nothing here to call home. I am very happy not to have to live there.

This cabin brought tears to my eyes. I wish I had the specs so I could duplicate!

I agree with Gracie. Her thoughts are exactly my thoughts.
Sterile. Cold.
