Would love floor plans for this

Didn’t show bathroom. Also what is upstairs? What’s behind the sliding door? There are a number of doors leading to unknown areas. Also, the outside shows a smaller section to the side of the porch. What is that? It is a lovely home, and gives a lot of living space for 600 s.f. but the pictures just leave you wanting more.

Really great plan. I wish more people in my community would embrace this. We are still building McMansions. It makes me ill.

Would you mind sharing the approximate cost to build this home, not including the land it’s on?

  • Reply Cindy Kelly October 18, 2016 at 8:40 pm

Just perfect! I would love to see photos of the bathroom(s) as well.

  • Reply Franco October 18, 2016 at 9:46 pm

This place is very nice.. I wish they showed pictures of the bathroom though. Looks like there is only 1 bathroom upstairs. I can’t tell what the small room near the living room and to the left of the kitchen is. There is what looks like a small chair and desk, but no idea if that is another bathroom or what. I would also add upper cabinets in the kitchen and I would enclose the garage as well.

Amazing – the difference between what you “want” and all you really “need”….

My favorite part about the house is the back, and the garage-door-type opening. It took a minute to figure out but when I did I was very pleased. And I can’t believe it’s only 600 Sq. Ft. These tiny houses always seem bigger than they are.

  • Reply Barbara October 19, 2016 at 1:00 am

    Very Very nice

This is the kind of tiny home you dream of. Not really tiny, just small, perfect for one person or a couple. Style that looks easy to do but is hard to pull off when you try and do it yourself.

Can we see the plans or buy them for this house ?

Size, shape, fittings, clever ideas, all excellent…but plain white drywall finishes?…it’s like running an entire marathon and stopping ten feet from the finishing line and calling it a day…it doesn’t make sense to come so close to amazing and giving up…white paint and drywall is an absolute invasion of boring and should have no place in a home, maybe the back of a closet or under the stairs, but there are a billion choices to make for your walls and you go to wal-mart for your finishes?…slumlords love cheap white paint and drywall, because it’s boring and shows zero creativity and style…they need to rent sterile shells so people are fooled into thinking they’re clean, i get it, but why do so many people put up with it?…they leave it there like it was supposed to be the final product…a clean fresh sheet of white paper is great but useless unless you fill that page, a blank canvas is supposed to be an opportunity to make it your own, to make a statement, to make it suit your personality…no one has a plain white personality, no one i want to be around. Colors and texture makes people ‘feel’…white can make you feel clean but that presumes you otherwise feel dirty…a sadness.

How much would this Urban Micro home cost be? I love the way each room is decorated and the layout of each room, love the kitchen!

  • Reply Christopher October 28, 2016 at 8:44 pm

Is this structure on a permanent foundation or trailer(s)?

  • Reply Sevina October 30, 2016 at 12:26 pm

Lot of great features in a small space! I agree with the comments complimenting the interior designer. Among my favorite items was that living fern “picture” stationed on the wall. I’ve also seen these done with varieties of sedum to a beautiful effect. Would have loved to see what the bathroom was like and also if there was a half bath on the main floor. Can anyone explain why the builder would use a garage door instead of traditional patio deck doors? Maybe cost? I wouldn’t think it would be as weatherproof. Overall I like the look of that door from the outside, but don’t care for seeing the rails on the ceiling inside. JMO

Loved how some features from travel trailers were incorporated, i.e. under bed storage and the sliding built in cutting board over the sink.
