Didn’t show bathroom. Also what is upstairs? What’s behind the sliding door? There are a number of doors leading to unknown areas. Also, the outside shows a smaller section to the side of the porch. What is that? It is a lovely home, and gives a lot of living space for 600 s.f. but the pictures just leave you wanting more.
Oh! I hope my daughter can build something half as nice as this for me on the property she has purchased adjoining her current home! So happy to have this example to show her. <3
This place is very nice.. I wish they showed pictures of the bathroom though. Looks like there is only 1 bathroom upstairs. I can’t tell what the small room near the living room and to the left of the kitchen is. There is what looks like a small chair and desk, but no idea if that is another bathroom or what. I would also add upper cabinets in the kitchen and I would enclose the garage as well.
My favorite part about the house is the back, and the garage-door-type opening. It took a minute to figure out but when I did I was very pleased. And I can’t believe it’s only 600 Sq. Ft. These tiny houses always seem bigger than they are.
This is the kind of tiny home you dream of. Not really tiny, just small, perfect for one person or a couple. Style that looks easy to do but is hard to pull off when you try and do it yourself.
Size, shape, fittings, clever ideas, all excellent…but plain white drywall finishes?…it’s like running an entire marathon and stopping ten feet from the finishing line and calling it a day…it doesn’t make sense to come so close to amazing and giving up…white paint and drywall is an absolute invasion of boring and should have no place in a home, maybe the back of a closet or under the stairs, but there are a billion choices to make for your walls and you go to wal-mart for your finishes?…slumlords love cheap white paint and drywall, because it’s boring and shows zero creativity and style…they need to rent sterile shells so people are fooled into thinking they’re clean, i get it, but why do so many people put up with it?…they leave it there like it was supposed to be the final product…a clean fresh sheet of white paper is great but useless unless you fill that page, a blank canvas is supposed to be an opportunity to make it your own, to make a statement, to make it suit your personality…no one has a plain white personality, no one i want to be around. Colors and texture makes people ‘feel’…white can make you feel clean but that presumes you otherwise feel dirty…a sadness.
I BUILT A 6OO SQ FT HOME ON 2 ACRES IN AZ I WANTED SOME PEACE HOWEVER , A GUY WHO HAD COME FROM CA CAME TO LIVE IN HIS HOME ON 1 ACRE, NEAR MY PROPERTY & BUILT A MASSIVE GARAGE WORKSHOP WITH AN OFFICE ABOVE & AN APT., STARTED ENGRAVING ALL DAY & EVERYDAY , THE NOISE CAME RIGHT INTO MY HOME, THAT WAS THE END OF MY PEACE, ( BUYING PROPERTY IN AZ.) I GOT DRIVEN OUT, BY THE HORRENDOUS NOISE, FED EX , & U.P.S. WERE PICKING UP PACKAGES ALL DAY & EVERYDAY, COULD NOT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT ( YES , IT WAS RESIDENTIAL ZONING. THATS AMERICA FOR YOU ! HE GOT AWAY WITH IT. ( MAYBE HE KNEW THE RIGHT PEOPLE! )
Lot of great features in a small space! I agree with the comments complimenting the interior designer. Among my favorite items was that living fern “picture” stationed on the wall. I’ve also seen these done with varieties of sedum to a beautiful effect. Would have loved to see what the bathroom was like and also if there was a half bath on the main floor. Can anyone explain why the builder would use a garage door instead of traditional patio deck doors? Maybe cost? I wouldn’t think it would be as weatherproof. Overall I like the look of that door from the outside, but don’t care for seeing the rails on the ceiling inside. JMO

Really great plan. I wish more people in my community would embrace this. We are still building McMansions. It makes me ill.
I love this house!
Enclose the carport to make a garage and it would be perfect!
Would you mind sharing the approximate cost to build this home, not including the land it’s on?

Amazing – the difference between what you “want” and all you really “need”….

How much does it cost to build how much does it cost to
Excellent!!! From concept to final execution this building has so many great features considering the somewhat modest size.
Bravo !!!!
I love the sink…..among other things!
I love it! It is a perfect tiny house.
Very well executed. Your interior designer deserves 5 gold stars.
How much would this Urban Micro home cost be? I love the way each room is decorated and the layout of each room, love the kitchen!
Is this structure on a permanent foundation or trailer(s)?

Loved how some features from travel trailers were incorporated, i.e. under bed storage and the sliding built in cutting board over the sink.
Oh this house is absolutely beautiful!!! It really didn’t as small as some of the smaller houses I’ve seen. This really is an incredible house.
