This past year we built ourselves a 704 sq ft modern cabin. We wanted to build it with realistic materials to make it an affordable home to build. We wanted it to be low cost to run, so we built with 2X6 walls for added insulation. We used natural materials as much as possible. you can check it out on our website. We love our small home and hope to build more for others to enjoy.

This is a beautiful home! This would actually be my dream come true home. I don’t need a mansion on this earth… Just something tastefully built and cozy!
WOW!! I look at your home wishing it was mine but I’m in Ohio & on fixed income, so it will have to stay a dream. I keep hoping that someone would use homes like this for retirement communities where we are still independently living but can’t afford to buy the regular way. I know there are tons my age that would gladly pay rent to (stays the same) till we either died or had to leave because of health! What a dream! Thank You for sharing your dream come true!
This is one of my favorite houses on here. I would love to live in this one. Also one can’t argue with their view.
Wow! That view!
We just bought a piece of land in the Columbia River Gorge in WA / OR. It is on a river frontage with an approved 50 ft set back from the river. We really really liked your wrap around deck and the really well done screened in porch!
