Is that why I’m seeing double pictures ? LOL Other than the particle-board, this looks like a great design and full of FUN ideas, people, activities and LIVING.

I didn’t see any particle board in the photos, it looked like all oriented strand board, and (apparently) marine grade plywood. But if there is particle board, I agree that would be the worst possible material for any kind of floating home.

Off grid? If it is off-grid, why do I see cords going down the chains to light bulbs???

i am the builder and owner of the above house. just to answer, all marine grade. no particle board.
as for the off the grid question. it is fully off the grid. we run on solar and batteries. the cables you see power our lighting, stereo and 12v outlets. we generate our own electricity. off the grid usually means you can run light bulbs, you just are not connected to a grid (we are fully ‘off grid’ and do not have an option to connect to a grid where this house is located)

Hi there, GREAT place! Love the Canadian Flag! Would you be kind enough to send me the plans? I’d like to build one here near Salt Spring Island where I live. Thanks!

    Ian.
