How much does it cost to heat in cold weather?
Auckland NZ winter average temperatures are only 57 degrees F. So no chance of pipes freezing. And with passive solar, the small woodburning stove shown in the photographs, and human body heat, I’m sure it stays fairly comfortable.
So many of these small houses… I wonder what people DO other than watch tv.
This one is one of the few that I could actually picture people living in it.

I like this one too! Interesting to know which direction the windows face – could probably get some heat in the winter if the sun shines through the glass!
