All those exposed log ends are a really nice touch.

Beautiful dacha! I’m just not so keen on those bare florescent lights in the bedroom.

Wow….talk about some high end materials….its beautiful!

I want to know what that ” granite box slab” in the living area is. It has pillows and a blanket and it looks like an area to climb up there. What was the thought/intention of this?

You know it’s a true compliment when something is not really your usual preference or taste and yet you transcend what was and embrace the now… if only in or for the moment. For me… it’s happening now in this phenomenal house. A kind of space-age rustic, filled with slices, splices and slabs, microcosmic to magnanimous – a patchwork of relativity and contrast. A sort of harmonious duality blending and almost blinding in its brilliance. Maybe hence the fluorescent lights… for chill factor to contrast the somewhat ‘homey’ austere coziness. Replicating in new ways, our notions are challenged – and possibly better for it. If nothing else it peaks/peeks our curiosities and passions! TY for this innovative glimpse of a somewhat surreal reality!

Delightful place in all ways –except for the hideous fireplace and overhead lights.

Industrial meets rustic??? Furnishings and color are too cold for me. Those logs jutting into the room like that makes for a lot of wasted space.

Some very beautiful parts. I, too, wonder about the lighting, but most of all, for me, there’s just tooo much going on in there. So many dark patterns, so many styles….something I generally like. I love the end cut wood though….now that’s brilliant!
