FYI, the interior shots are all of the main house (which is not particularly small), not the lane way house.

This is beautiful. I would love to live in this house. Not too big/not too small. Beautiful interior. Don’t know how many square feet, but it’s great.

It would be nice to get more details of the house. Square Feet? Is there a second floor? Floor Plans?

I would like to know what the inside of the small house looks like.
Also, what is the large house called?
How much per square foot on each house?

    Thanks,
    Becky

I love the style of the 3D rendering of the house, but noticed that it isn’t shown on the Architect’s site. Where did it come from?

This is a fantastic (small-ish) house that I pass by every few days. It’s located in Kitsilano off 10th for those in the area. The smaller house is a coach house and was likely either sold as a past of a strata subdivision (which is allowed here) or is rented by the property owners. They are VERY popular here and many new homes have them as part of the plan – honestly, you kind of need it as an income driver in order to afford property in the first place.

Cost… Well with land in this area, it’s likely somewhere in the 5 million+ dollar range for the property as a whole. The coach house on its own would fetch anywhere from a million up to 2 million. Yup. Welcome to Vancouver.

My husband and I are looking for a small house, but we don’t want to live in a rural setting. We are city people at heart. We currenty live in Voorhees, NJ. Our home is large for three people. Lots of wasted space. Family room, living room, large foyer (really wasted space), large dining room which we rarely use because we have a large kitchen with a large table; two and 1/2 bathrooms; LARGE master bedroom with large closets and built in dressing/vanity. We don’t use much of this space, so,it’s time to move on. We are just trying to figure out “Where can we put a tiny house, in the northeast?”. We are both 59 so we are close to retirement, but not close enough. If you can offer some suggestions, we are all ears!

    Thanks,

    Joanne Pawulack
