I can also honestly say on this one as well, that this home is a far better place and more full of life than the mansion Hugh Hefner bought for his current wife. At least this home is not bland and has some character. Certainly lifts the motivation for waking up.
Absolutely amazing. I would love to live in such a beautiful home. Restored perfectly.
Having lived in TX–north of Austin–I gotta say…….those Texans (of which I’m one, since I was born there MANY moons ago!) sure like to move homes!!! I lived in one myself down there. 😉
This one is GORGEOUS!!!
I am swooning…….
Wow, very cool. The house is really nice, but I SO want that bathtub!;)
Gorgeous, I just love it. At least the place is not all white this and all white that. It speaks volumns about it’s owner, classicly classy!!!
I love it! How much would it cost to build a replica of this?
Love the stained glass.
It truly is absolutely perfect.
The cabin home is amazing. One i’m glad to have seen.
That swimming pool out back is an abomination…i love pools, i like the idea of owning one for those who choose to, i simply cannot fathom how they thought it would look good behind this cabin when clearly it belongs behind some california ranch home instead.
Maybe a pool made to look more like a natural swimming hole would have been more in line with the cabin style but i just don’t see any pool fitting in well behind any cabin. A cedar sided hot tub or a natural stream or lake property would have been a better option for it. Instead it seems some horrible compromise has taken place by a couple who wanted entirely different lifestyles.
John I respect the right to speak your truth. On a site like this however I just see no need to criticize anything as so many viarables that we don’t know or understand are always at play. I would have, still would if I “Won” it huge rocks hauled in and yes make it look very organic and a thing of enchantment. However the old If You Can’t say anything nice…… perhaps………. You are entitled to be John though !!!!! Have a Great New Year !!!!!!!
