Cedar siding, exposed wood and steel framing, and steel windows imbibe the home with a hand wrought aesthetic, while trim-less details, large windows and clean unadorned lines pay respect to Modernism.

Monica….I rarely like all 0r even most of the furnishings, this one, at least, has a layout that makes changing them to my favorites possible.
So many smaller, or custom small houses leave little room for interprtation. For me, the worst aspect of so many is the lack of any “soft” furniture. I doubt very much that I would be happy for long with no over-stuffed chair or sofa. For instance, in this house, there are two black molded plastic chairs. There’s nothing wrong with them, but without the sofa as another choice, I couldn’t imagine even spending a weekend there! I saw on last week that was in a gorgeous place….with NO place to sit. A plank to perch on, not one item with a back to support you. I may just be getting old, but even in with heart stopping views, eventually, I will want to settle in and read, or talk, or even just be comfortable.
I’d put away those plastic chairs and get another comfortable chair. With the sofa and two comfy chairs the seating area would be perfect.
