What a unique and beautiful “concept”, realized with wonderful materials and design! Such luck to find the old stone ruins to use as a frame and backdrop for the house. More likely to be possible in Europe than here in the USA. I would do the same thing if I owned such an American site as historic Fort Laramie, Wyoming, or Fort Davis, Texas, with their intriguing sandstone/limestone ruins.
Hope others can wrap their minds around the ” CONCEPTUAL” as well as you have used the pre-existing stone walls of the parameters to in essence ‘ bracket” your own clever, modern and inventive home. I particularly appreciate the fort-like openings and portals to other areas and views. Thanks for sharing a peek and ENJOY!

I love the old stone wall that surrounds the house. It would protect from extreme weather and it is beautiful. Also love how the house closes up.
