All I can say is “wow!” I assume SIPS panels are used and how the dwelling is kept warm?

Beautiful renovation and home. I would add some comfortable furniture, softness in the form of pillows/throw blankets and some pops of color (perhaps pulled from the rug shown?) to make it feels homier. I’m wondering if the amazing antique sled originally came from the barn? Its’ a great piece!

Sara, I agree, wholeheartedly! What a beautiful reno! I just love this house! But, as one who lives in a log home, I believe the hardwood qualities of a house can become overwhelming w/o some textiles to soften the picture. Nothing wrong with throwing a bit of color around, either. After a year of living in a hollow tree I was starved for color – painted my bathroom barn red.

Timbers of the size used for the framing are virtually improcurable, outside reclaimed materials, magnificent.
The kitchen & bathroom need to break up the theme, providing clean, well light, well sealed lines in my humble opinion.
