Jon and Rita wanted to build a recording studio that would also serve as a guest cottage for friends and family. We worked with them and an acoustical engineer to create a simple yet elegant backyard cottage. The cottage contains the recording studio, a kitchen, bath and a loft like bedroom.

Lovely clean modern design. Really nice!
I design kitchens for a living, and this is literally the FIRST of many hundreds of kitchens I have seen in small homes that I would have put my name on if I had designed it. ALL the others have been mere camp kitchens, and this one is truly functional. Kudos to the designer.
Thank you, I personally think of the kitchen as the focal point of any house and try to design them to live large even in our smallest cottages.
